Project Overview

A F500 manufacturing company had an urgent need to surface and leverage operational data using a new reporting and analytics platform to more effectively manage the business. RevGen was challenged to urgently deliver essential reports while organizing a repeatable agile development framework for cost effective and sustainable reporting and data delivery.

Client Challenge

  • Lack of Visibility. The business had urgent needs to leverage operational data using a new reporting and analytics platform to more effectively manage the business.
  • Manual Efforts. Existing reporting was done through time consuming manual efforts, which resulted in inconsistent or incomplete information which was used to support business decisions.
  • Multiple Data Sources. Data sources came from multiple places, which contributed to inconsistent information used across the organization to drive business decisions.


Working collaboratively with the business and IT, RevGen established an Agile delivery approach which was focused around delivering business value. An urgency to provide the business with operational visibility into key parts of the business required a close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to identify immediate and longer term analytics needs and appropriate solutions. RevGen developed an adaptable approach that utilized the existing data architecture in combination with the new data architecture which was under development.


  • Established an Agile delivery approach focused around delivering business value. Collaborated iteratively with business stakeholders to identify near and long-term analytics needs.
  • Integrated a thorough data validation process across the data and reporting architecture including Snowflake, Talend, Data Vault and Qlik Sense.
  • Implemented an adaptable approach to meet to urgent business demands which utilized the existing data architecture in combination with a new data architecture under development.
