RevGen’s Data Quality Engine: Fostering Confidence in Data
The RevGen Data Quality Engine gave our client the visibility and control they needed to ensure high quality reporting
RevGen helped our client turn blue-sky ideas into a realistic, sequenced AI roadmap
A leading telecommunications provider had taken early steps in their AI journey by gathering a wide range of use cases across the organization. However, they faced significant challenges in rationalizing these use cases alongside senior leadership initiatives, active data science projects, and ongoing AI governance. Many of these efforts were also tied to strategic Adobe and Salesforce investments. RevGen helped them sort through their competing efforts and priorities for AI during our AI Accelerator Workshop.
Without a unified framework to assess data readiness, technical feasibility, and alignment with enterprise priorities, the organization struggled to prioritize, sequence, or scale initiatives in a way that would deliver measurable business value.
While they were excited about AI’s potential, the client’s overall strategy was muddied, with many opportunities and little direction.
Our client made significant investments in both Salesforce and Adobe tools, so any new AI initiatives were tasked with making use of the technology they already owned.
AI had already been discussed in many areas of the business and with several vendors, all of whom were pushing different AI products, however the client still had to figure out if they were even implementable from a people, process, technology, and data perspective, let alone what the ROI could potentially be.
RevGen partnered with the client to validate and refine their AI use case inventory, ensuring alignment with business objectives, data maturity, and key technology investments such as Adobe and Salesforce.
During the AI Accelerator Workshop, we led a guided and collaborative session with business and technology stakeholders to discuss and prioritize use cases.
Ahead of the workshop, we conducted a thorough analysis to assess feasibility, identify integration dependencies, and define high-level approaches and data requirements.
During our Accelerator workshop, we helped the client prioritize their potential AI projects based on several factors, such as impact, feasibility, and organizational readiness.
As part of the prioritization exercise, we also mapped any critical-to-success needs to each AI opportunity, including data availability and staff support to better inform decision making.
By transforming a list of unstructured ideas into a focused and executable plan, RevGen helped the client shift from exploration to action, enabling them to take the next step in delivering business value through AI.
With all the use cases and their potential impact at our fingertips, we were able to then organize it into a single, sequenced roadmap spanning both short-term and long-term initiatives.
Beyond just the roadmap, the client now had a clear, concise list of the various potential use cases–including several they hadn’t even considered. As their AI strategy evolves, this enables them to modify their roadmap as necessary, without having to go back to the drawing board.
Based on our proprietary RevGen AI value calculator, we gave the client a basic hierarchy of value, from low to high, for each potential use case, and layered that into our roadmap.
One of the hardest parts of any implementation is driving alignment, so to help socialize the new roadmap and generate buy-in, the client was provided with an easily understood visual representation that could be used to foster the necessary conversations.
