Three local nonprofits selected for cash grants

We are pleased to announce the winners of our 2017 summer grant cycle.

Twice a year, our employee-run philanthropy team solicits nominations from their colleagues on behalf of nonprofit organizations focused on addressing at-risk youth, poverty, public health, and parks and recreation.  Colorado-based nonprofits can request up to $5,000 per grant cycle for project funding.  Three, first-time applicants were selected for their ability to deliver quality and creative assistance to our Denver community.  Continue reading to find out more about the special projects that were funded.

Dress for Success empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.  RevGen awarded $4,500 to support the Women’s Employment Network and Professional Women’s Group programs.

Trips for Kids Denver uses bikes to empower at-risk and disadvantaged youth by providing life skills, development, and a sense of fun and adventure.  RevGen awarded $4,000 to fund the Earn-a-Bike Program, where students attend classes on cycling and bicycle maintenance.

Mercy Housing Colorado develops, finances and operates affordable housing for families, seniors and people with special needs who lack the economic resources to access quality, safe housing opportunities.  RevGen awarded $1,500 to support a diabetes education and awareness class for residents.
