We demonstrate this value through many facets of our professional and personal lives. It is core to who we are as individuals and as an organization – and is a central tenet in our approach to community service and investments.

RevGen selected Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to be our community partner for 2017.  Through this partnership, we believe we will have a lasting impact on our community by providing volunteer support, gifts-in-kind services and financial contributions to an organization that is committed to bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.

On June 3, 2017, a team of 9 RevGen volunteers participated in the largest development in Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver’s history.  The Sheridan Square project will provide 63 energy-efficient homes (source: https://www.habitatmetrodenver.org/).

Our team of volunteers had the privilege of working with over 30 other volunteers, Habitat employees, and professional contractors to help build these amazing new affordable homes for hardworking, low income families. It was a beautiful day and the team spent time landscaping, grading, building sawhorses and shelves, and supporting various other construction efforts.  We gained an added sense of purpose and commitment to Habitat’s mission and vision knowing that some of the other volunteers were future owners of these homes.

The Sheridan Square project is on the site of an old school, and the team unearthed pieces of the school’s original foundation, including bricks from the old schoolhouse itself.  The build site is just down the street from the brand new school and it was amazing to see such a beautiful group of homes being constructed in the shadows of the new school and Sheridan Community Park.
