Consultant, Analyst, Project Delivery

Current Open Position – Consultant, Analyst, Project Delivery Description:

Deliver consulting based projects to a variety of clients under the direction of project management; and participate in solution-building activities as assigned. Essential Functions:

  • Own and execute project based tasks based on client needs (e.g., gather requirements, interview clients, document processes, create spreadsheets, create databases, create documentation, and analyze data)
  • Utilize tools, processes and best practices to deliver work
  • Report status, issues and risks to project management
  • Help develop and “productize” new solutions

Requisite Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: RevGen Partners typically delivers work that requires data/technical resources and/or business analyst/process/functional resources. Our ideal candidate has a combination of both skill sets, but we will consider individuals with strength in one or the other.   • Data/Technical Skills (Data/Reporting/Integration):
    • Ability to utilize MS SQL Server to load large data sets and perform data analysis
    • Ability to quickly familiarize with a new data sets and perform ad-hoc, non-structured data analysis in order to identify trends, answer a specific business question, identify data or process integrity issues, and build a business case for change
    • Ability to utilize MS SQL Server BI Stack (SQL Server, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services) to develop integration and/or reporting solutions
  • Business Analyst/Process/Functional (Finance/Accounting/Operational Process):
    • Ability to utilize MS Visio or similar tools to document end-to-end business processes, identify control point gaps and make recommendations for improvement
    • Ability to interview clients, obtain evidence of business problems, identify and propose solutions
    • Ability to define a solution approach, define solution scope, gather functional and technical requirements, and build a project plan
  • General:
    • Ability to understand and dissect complex business problems
    • Ability to play an integral part in project delivery given tight constraints but uncompromising quality
    • Complete tasks within scheduled time and accurately estimate time to complete
    • Ability to develop productive business relationships with client and internal team members through cooperation, courtesy, and professionalism
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Motivated to identify and develop solutions that can be leveraged across multiple clients
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
    • Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies highly desirable: SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, SharePoint

Desired Experience:

  • One to five years of business, information systems, and/or accounting/finance experience
  • Fundamental knowledge and ability to understand technology, information systems, data, and business processes
  • Consulting/professional services required

Education, Training & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required / Graduate degree will be considered
  • Degrees in accounting, finance, operations, information systems, or computer science are highly desirable
  • Training and certifications will be considered

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

  • PC usage up to 100% of the time
  • Office equipment such as telephone, fax and copier
  • Ability to travel to client sites through Denver-metro area
  • Ability to travel outside of Denver
  • Overtime and weekend hours may be required
