      Michael and RevGen Partners’ co-founders established the firm with a clear vision to deliver superior revenue optimization and cost elimination services to drive clients’ profitability. As chief executive officer of RevGen Partners, Michael guides the firm’s growth and is actively involved in client work to create intelligent solutions that solve complex business challenges.

      Michael draws from two decades of experience across a spectrum of industries in providing high-value client solutions. He is highly regarded within the consulting community as an expert in maximizing clients’ margins, especially those in high-transaction industries including communications and content, healthcare, education, financial services, and manufacturing and distribution.

      Throughout Michael’s career, he has been distinguished as a turnaround specialist, effective team leader, and able sales executive. Prior to founding RevGen Partners, Michael was vice president at Hitachi Consulting where he led multiple data reconciliation and cost recovery efforts for domestic and international companies. His teams’ work resulted in tens of millions of recovered dollars on behalf of clients.

      Before his time at Hitachi Consulting, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen where he was responsible for multiple large domestic and international accounts. He gained valuable experience in sales and operations as a principal in IBM Global services where he was consistently recognized as a top performer.

      Complementing his business endeavors, Michael is an active mentor to young professionals through both informal and formal industry and community programs. He is particularly passionate about volunteering his time and skills in programs that empower at-risk youth.

      Michael holds a bachelor of business management from Texas State University and a graduate certificate in telecommunications management from the University of Dallas, Graduate School of Management.

  • Kirk Mielenz, Managing Director – Strategic Initiatives

      Kirk is co-founder of RevGen Partners and leads the firm’s strategic initiatives. In this role, he is responsible for analyzing and executing plans to drive the company’s growth, acquisitions, investments, and new business development. In addition, he serves as lead consultant on several RevGen Partners client engagements where his hallmarks of service include a personal dedication to maximizing value and the foresight to see the long-term implications of a plan.

      Kirk is a natural problem solver who has proven invaluable in tackling clients’ business challenges. His abilities to synthesize complex information quickly and navigate sensitive situations allow him to drive efficiencies and increase profitability for numerous organizations. Kirk’s efforts have added tens of millions of dollars to clients’ bottom lines, with some projects yielding returns on investment upwards of 500 percent.

      Prior to co-founding RevGen Partners, Kirk was a director at Hitachi Consulting where he was responsible for overall project direction, vision, and strategy for large business transformation, revenue assurance, and process design engagements. Before that, Kirk was a manager in the communications practice with Arthur Andersen in Denver.

      Kirk holds a bachelor of science degree in international business and finance from Regis University, as well as an MBA from The Kogod Business School of American University. He earned a juris doctorate from Washington College of Law at American University and is a licensed attorney in Colorado.

  • Jason Hansen, Managing Director – Consulting Services

      Jason is co-founder of RevGen Partners and serves as managing director of consulting services. In addition, he leads RevGen Partners' telecommunications and content consulting activities drawing from his expertise in leading multi-million dollar domestic and international revenue assurance and cost avoidance initiatives.

      Jason’s career is marked by numerous successes whereby he and his teams mined clients’ complex systems and data to identify revenue and cost leakage and subsequently developed comprehensive solutions to recover millions of dollars. He has recovered tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue at a number of leading companies including a major U.S. DBS company, an international cable operator, and a leading phone company’s wireless division. In balance with his proficiency in high-transaction assurance, Jason assists companies in improving and streamlining financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely information for external reporting and decision-making purposes.

      Prior to co-founding RevGen Partners, Jason was a senior manager at Hitachi Consulting. He also held positions at Protiviti and Arthur Andersen.

      Jason earned a masters and bachelor of science in accounting from Brigham Young University.

  • Robert Sunker, Director – Process and Technology Solutions

      Robert joined RevGen Partners in early 2008 and is an expert in process and technology solutions. He is highly regarded for his project management skills and ability to construct a vision, develop methodologies and deploy tools and tactics to drive clients’ success across a number of industries and disciplines.

      Robert is particularly skilled in transforming business challenges into revenue-generating opportunities. He combines his attention to detail, experience, and pragmatic approach on every client engagement. Before joining RevGen Partners, Robert developed his talents at Janus Capital Group in Denver where he coordinated the planning and execution of activities assigned to the Project Management Office. Prior to that, he was a manager at Hitachi Consulting where he directed a number of high-profile client engagements. One initiative on behalf of several telecommunications companies recovered $15 million in revenue. Throughout his career, Robert has facilitated or assisted in projects that have documented root causes of problems and included tactical and strategic recommendations for successful resolution.

      Robert holds a bachelor of science degree in science, chemistry and biology from Houston Baptist University and an MBA from University of Colorado, both with honors.

  • Derrick Hadzima, Director – Technology Solutions & Data Architecture

      Derrick serves as RevGen Partners’ chief data architect in designing and developing technical solutions that help the firm’s clients achieve their strategic goals. He is responsible for designing and delivering both custom and out-of-the-box solutions that give clients accuracy, consistency and clarity across complex databases, systems and processes.

      Throughout the past decade, Derrick developed his expertise by supporting large-scale enterprises in high-transaction industries including telecommunications, manufacturing and healthcare. He maintains technical and functional expertise in multiple platforms and languages including SQL Server, SharePoint and .Net. He applies this knowledge to solve clients’ margin assurance, financial reporting and work flow challenges. Of note, as senior consultant, Derrick was a vital team member on a project that earned the distinguished 2007 Microsoft Partner of the Year award for Information Worker Solutions, Messaging and Collaboration. He is a coauthor of Social Computing with Microsoft SharePoint 2007: Implementing Applications for SharePoint to Enable Collaboration and Interaction in the Enterprise.

      Derrick earned a bachelor of science in mathematics with an emphasis in computer science from Adams State College. He also holds a master of science in computer information technology from Regis University. Additionally, he holds multiple technical certifications from Microsoft.

  • Joe Bagan, Co-Founder RevGen Partners, Advisor and Board Member

      Joe is a veteran strategist and business leader having worked in a number of executive leadership roles in both corporate and consulting environments.

      Notably, Joe is a former Arthur Andersen partner and led the Southwestern United States High Tech and Communications consulting practice for the firm. In this role, he established himself as an expert in business planning, cost management and merger planning and integration. He left the firm in 2000 to join AT&T Broadband where he led the company’s acquisition integration of TCI and MediaOne. He also directed information technology activities as the company’s CIO. Later, Joe went on to lead several national functions for AT&T Broadband which included revenue assurance and billing operations. Upon the sale of AT&T Broadband to Comcast, Joe went on to Adelphia where he and several executives were tasked with leading the company out of bankruptcy.

      In addition to his advisory role at RevGen Partners, Joe is chief executive of Sharklet Technologies, Inc. an early-stage life science company that is bringing to market the world’s first surface pattern that mimics the bacterially-resistant properties and skin structure of sharks. This pattern, called Sharklet™, may be imprinted onto a film and then applied to high-touch areas in healthcare settings or manufactured onto the surfaces of indwelling medical devices. The intent of Sharklet is to reduce the transference, migration and survival of bacteria to protect patients from contracting hospital-acquired infections.
